The Emergency Care Center at St. Joseph's Hospital is committed to offering a high level of care for all types of adult and pediatric emergencies. The department is staffed 24 hours a day by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and registered nurses with emergency nursing certification. A Level III Trama Center with rapid access from its Highway 45 location, the ECC offers prompt availability of surgeons and on-call physicians in multiple specialties and quick access to the services of a Level I Trauma Center when needed. The ECC has more than 16,000 emergency visits annually.
