Who We Are
For 40 years, we’ve served our community with a variety of high quality health care services and options. We offer primary care and multi-specialty services for people of all ages. Most of our physicians are board certified, which signifies a standard of excellence in knowledge and practice. With more than 75 providers on staff and several convenient locations, you can count on us to provide specialized care - close to your home.
As the area’s preferred health care provider, our commitment to medical excellence is demonstrated by our patient-focused approach and our emphasis on quality and health wellness. We have built a strong network of services and provide access to leading medical procedures, advanced technology and specialty care. As part of Froedtert Health, we also have access to the most advanced specialty care through eastern Wisconsin’s only academic medical center – Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin.
Affiliation with Froedtert Health Brings Benefits
Our affiliation with Froedtert Health strengthens our ability to provide you with the most effective care possible for all types of medical conditions. Froedtert Health combines the capabilities of West Bend Clinic, Froedtert Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Community Memorial Hospital to deliver nationally recognized, cost-effective health care and technologies to people throughout eastern Wisconsin.
“This relationship formalizes our existing linkages and sense of partnership with Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin,” said Dr. Gregory Blommel, President and Medical Director of the West Bend Clinic. “As part of a larger system, we can offer access to a broader continuum of care and recruit new specialists to the area. A collaborative clinical relationship with Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin will benefit our patients with chronic illness, with the ultimate goal of improving the health status of the community. Through this combination, we can offer the right care at the right time and in the right setting.”

Committed to the Highest Level of Quality Care
The focus of West Bend Clinic’s quality department is to provide the tools, reports, and resources for physicians and staff to effectively manage the individual care of our patients.
Every clinical department has a quality program in place. Ultimately, our goal is to create a healthier population by emphasizing quality, disease management and prevention. Ten years ago the Institute of Medicine (IOM) developed a strategy across America to improve patient safety. West Bend Clinic adopted these aims as the early framework for our Quality Improvement Program. The IOM aims include:
- Safety
- Equity
- Effectiveness
- Efficiency
- Timeliness
- Patient-centered care
Today, the IOM principles have evolved into the Triple Aim.
West Bend Clinic participates with the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ), the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program (DPRP) and the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI).
Customer Service Excellence and Patient Satisfaction
Providing quality service to you is a constant focus at West Bend Clinic. We value you as a patient, and your satisfaction is important to us. Our philosophy for providing exceptional service is built on three components: access to services - providing exceptional care during your appointment - and ensuring effective methods for follow-up care. This approach allows an in-depth look at your entire patient experience.
In 2004, West Bend Clinic launched a formal customer service initiative called Legendary Impressions. More than 25 customer service teams have been established, representing every department. These teams strive to deliver excellent service by using survey data to gather patient feedback, establish action plans and identify areas for improvement in each department. Our customer service program has established a strong foundation for a culture built on excellence and a dedication to patient satisfaction.
West Bend Clinic surveys patients regularly to ensure that we are meeting patient needs. We are always interested in hearing about the care you received. Your thoughts and comments are extremely important, and help us learn how we can enhance our health care services. If you have any comments about the care you received at West Bend Clinic, please call us at 262-306-6380.
Awards and Certifications
West Bend Clinic received national recognition for Superior Performance from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in 2009. MGMA is the premier association for medical group practices nationwide. As a “Better Performer” West Bend Clinic was in the top 12% of the more 1400 practices that participated in the survey (based on 2007 data).
A total of 14 of our family practice and internal medicine physicians have been nationally certified for providing quality care to their patients with diabetes. The certification was received from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program (DPRP). The DPRP was designed to improve the quality of care diabetic patients receive by recognizing the physicians who deliver quality diabetes care.
